I drive for Hämeenlinna to become the city of dreams for families with children, and for Hämeenlinna to be the best place for entrepreneurs and innovators.
This is a time when Hämeenlinna needs to rewrite its story. We have a magnificient history as a city of garrisons, schools and administrations, but now we need new strategic drivers. Our location between growing cities is a blessing, but it comes with a curse: it is up to us in Hämeenlinna whether we develop into thriving center of the Häme area, or become a subsidiary or sleeping suburb to the cities around us.
I believe Hämeenlinna is a city worth growing. We should work determined to build the next phase in the history of Hämeenlinna as a thriving center of the Häme region: the city of dreams for families with children and the best place to run or found a business.

Make Hämeenlinna schools the best in the world and create space to enable dream housing for families. Also the city must focus on enabling a rich selection of sports and cultural acitivities for children.

Hämeenlinna needs to be active in making sure industrial players grow strong roots to its soil, and an excellent servant of the businesses founded here. In this term, we should found a defence innovation center and a startup hub for ambitious entrepreneurs.

Hämeenlinna should actively seek new habitants, especially families with children from elsewhere in Finland and abroad. Moving to Hämeenlinna should be easy and pleasent. We also have to make thecenter area into an idyllic destination.
Who am I
I am a 12th generation Hämeenlinna, currently raising the 13th generation ( I have three kids). I was born in Loimalahti, grew up in Hätilä, went to school in Nummi, HYK, and Lyseo. Over the years I’ve lived in five different countries besides Finland.
I work as an advisor to businesses, mostly working closely with the business owners and CEOs. In addition to Finnish and English, I speak German, French and Swedish.
